gap-alnuth software package provides GAP Alnuth - Algebraic number theory and an interface to PARI/GP, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gap-alnuth
gap-alnuth is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gap-alnuth package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gap-alnuth *
You will get with gap-alnuth package name, version, architecture and description in a table
